According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A liquid-submersible vacuum system includes a housing enclosing a filtration element and a water pump, and a power converter configured to couple to a standard AC power supply. The vacuum system further includes a vacuum-to-waste assembly detachably coupled to the housing for selectively conveying filtered fluid from the vacuum system to a remote location."
