US Patent Issued on July 21 for "Pet harness" (California, Louisiana Inventors)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 21 -- United States Patent no. 12,685,295, issued on July 21.

"Pet harness" was invented by Margaret P. Rothschild (Los Angeles) and Robert L. Basom (Gretna, La.).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "This disclosure describes a pet harness with a permanently attached or detachable neck pillow configured to restrict movement of a pet's head following surgery. Numerous configurations are described and depicted in the drawings showing various ways in which the neck pillow can be incorporated into the pet harness."

The patent was filed on April 26, 2024, under Application No. 18/648,277.
