ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 21 -- United States Patent no. 12,687,690, issued on July 21.
"Fiber panel replicator shelf" was invented by Walter Mark Hendrix (Dallas), Nathan Eric Benton (Dallas), Mark James Smrha (Chicago) and Wade James Womack (Allen, Texas).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Apparatus, systems, methods implement replicator shelves. A blade is slidably connected to a replicator shelf. Communication connectors are positioned on the blade. A support bar, within the replicator shelf, supports a plurality of cables to a plurality of blades comprising the blade."
The patent was filed on June 20, 2023, under Application No. 18/212,076.
