US Patent Issued on July 14 for "Valve cusp sizer" (Japanese Inventor)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 14 -- United States Patent no. 12,678,285, issued on July 14.

"Valve cusp sizer" was invented by Shigeyuki Ozaki (Tokyo).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A valve cusp sizer includes a back surface brought into contact with a living body, and a hole that is formed on the top surface at a distance from the center in a left-right direction toward one side in the left-right direction and into which a support rod is inserted."

The patent was filed on Oct. 11, 2019, under Application No. 17/287,599.
