According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A multipurpose cup device is provided. The device is comprised of a body with a liquid chamber for holding a drinking liquid which can be drank from a first opening in a lid of the device. The body may also be comprised of a spit chamber to collect spit through a second opening in the lid.
