"Chip connector device and system" was invented by John Sebastian Lee (Dallas).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A system for connecting a computer chip to an item provides a chip connector device that includes a tray configured to retain the chip, and at least one barbed post coupled to an underside of the tray, wherein the barbed post is configured to pierce and enmesh within a soft, pliable, and/or plush material in the item."

The patent was filed on July 30, 2025, under Application No. 19/285,449.
