ALEXANDRIA, Va., Feb. 17 -- United States Patent no. 12,551,401, issued on Feb. 17.

"Spa jet with crosswise and tangent venturi for both spa walls and spa floors" was invented by M Reza Mirzaei (Agoura Hills, Calif.) and William Crane Spears (Camarillo, Calif.).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A spa jet body that provides venturi in a crosswise and tangential orientation to the exit port of water/air mixture which provides for the elimination of moving parts inside of the jet body to create turbulence when in a perpendicular orientation and preserves precious space behind a vertical spa wall or a spa foot well.
