ALEXANDRIA, Va., Aug. 18 -- United States Patent no. 12,708,568, issued on Aug. 18.
"Method for producing folded underwear pads" was invented by Alessandro Zavalloni (Bologna, Italy).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A method for folding pads shaped as pants includes providing a first wing and a second wing of a pad with hook and loop elements, overturning the first and the second wing by 180deg on the plane of the pad, and maintaining the first and the second wing in such position until the pad having the shape of pants is closed."
The patent was filed on May 13, 2025, under Application No. 19/206,119.
