ALEXANDRIA, Va., Aug. 12 -- United States Patent no. 12,702,136, issued on Aug. 11.
"Surface disinfectant formulation" was invented by Prerna Goradia (Mumbai, India).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "An aqueous disinfectant solution having a stable ionic form of metals like silver, copper, and zinc in combination having significant ability to kill or disabling microorganisms and acts as antifungal as well with an extended useful shelf-life characterized by its non-corrosive nature and possesses better residual efficacy."
The patent was filed on May 22, 2022, under Application No. 17/750,367.
