ALEXANDRIA, Va., Aug. 12 -- United States Patent no. 12,702,207, issued on Aug. 11.
"Parasol for shading sunlight" was invented by Britta Langwisch (Emden, Germany).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A parasol for protection from sunlight is provided with at least one surface element as a parasol canopy, and a plurality of incisions are introduced in the surface element."
The patent was filed on Dec. 21, 2022, under Application No. 18/728,746.
