According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "The present invention is a grease pod to simplify and enhance the application of grease to ball hitches used in towing trailers and fifth wheel hitches. The grease pod includes a multi-layered body adapted to fit snugly over the hitch. The pod includes an inner layer and an outer layer, both made from a film, heat-sealed together to form a secure and pressure sensitive enclosure.
