According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A hard hat fan device is disclosed, which is a modified fan that keeps users cool while wearing a full brim hard hat. The hard hat fan device comprises a fan component that includes two slim style fans attached to a back side of the helmet strap behind the head of the user and under the brim of the hat.
