According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "The present invention comprises a flexible OLED lighting panel for use in the medical field. The panel made of OLED material powered by a small battery can be placed into a surgical cavity for illuminating portions of the anatomy from within the cavity.
