FAYETTEVILLE, Ark., Oct. 12 -- The University of Arkansas issued the following news release:
The university community is invited to a ribbon-cutting ceremony celebrating the completed Maple Street Improvements Project on Friday, Oct.16, at 10 a.m. at the Pi Phi Gates along Maple Street.
In partnership with the City of Fayetteville and federal partners, the ribbon-cutting will recognize the work to modernize the half-mile corridor between Garland Avenue and the Razorback Regional Greenway. The project includes a protected two-way bicycle path, improved pedestrian crossings, drainage improvementsand landscaping, supporting everyday trips through campus and the surrounding community.
