ORONO, Maine, Aug. 11 -- University of Maine issued the following news release:
Sean Campbell
Bangor native and University of Maine graduate Sean Campbell has been named the next president and CEO of the University of Maine Foundation. He brings 28 years of experience in higher education advancement.
Campbell, who earned a journalism degree from UMaine in 1994, currently serves as vice president for advancement at Illinois Tech. He previously held leadership roles at Loyola University Chicago, Skidmore College, the University of Chicago and Bates College.
Campbell's family ties to UMaine span generations. His father and uncles also attended the university.
