WASHINGTON, D.C.- U.S. Senators Katie Britt (R-Ala.) and Catherine Cortez Masto (D-Nev.) introduced the bipartisanSpace Superiority Readiness Act of 2026to strengthen Space Force readiness. The bill would expand wargaming, modeling, simulation, and training for Space Force Guardians to establish space superiority.
Space is central to deterring foreign adversaries. U.S. forces depend on space-based systems for missile warning, positioning and navigation, communications, intelligence, surveillance, reconnaissance, and targeting.
