WASHINGTON, D.C.- U.S. Senator Katie Britt (R-Ala.) today joined Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy, Governor Kay Ivey, Senator Tommy Tuberville (R-Ala.), members of the Alabama House delegation, and other state leaders in celebrating the groundbreaking of the Mobile River Bridge and Bayway Project. Totaling $3.2 billion in construction costs, the project is one of the largest investments in Alabama's history and will transform travel along the Gulf Coast.
