U.S. Senator Katie Britt (R-Ala.), as a member of the Senate Committee on Appropriations, recently directly secured over $4 million to fund the Deerfoot Parkway Project in Trussville. Hollywood Boulevard, which connects Mountain Brook, Homewood, and Birmingham, will also see major upgrades.
As part of the Deerfoot Parkway Project, Trussville will benefit from road widening and additional vehicle lanes to improve the flow of traffic. The project will work to alleviate congestion along the highway, support long-term growth and development, and help to manage increasing travel volume throughout the region.
