WASHINGTON, Nov. 1 -- The U.S. Department of Homeland Security's U.S. Coast Guard issued the following news release:
MAJURO, Republic of the Marshall Islands -- The crew of U.S. Coast Guard Cutter Vincent Danz (WPC 1162) arrived in the Republic of the Marshall Islands (RMI) Friday as part of their ongoing Operation Rematau patrol, an overarching multi-mission endeavor to promote regional stability and security throughout the Pacific.
During the crew's time in the RMI, they will help RMI law enforcement partners conduct bilateral maritime law enforcement operations. The U.S. Coast Guard supports these operations by providing platforms, personnel, and logistical assistance for boardings conducted with embarked RMI Sea Patrol officers. Actin...
