The two Kennesaw State University students, who received the university's D.C. Owls Scholarship, spent their summer interning in Washington, and both credit a semester at the Georgia
State Capitol with helping them succeed.
Barronton, a junior political science major in the Norman J. Radow College of Humanities and Social Sciences, spent last spring in the Georgia Legislative Internship Program (GLIP) assisting with the Senate Judiciary and Transportation committees.
