U.S. Representative Glenn "GT" Thompson (PA-15) today announced $1.8 million in federal funding for the West Market Street Pedestrian Improvements and Traffic System Improvements Project in East Buffalo Township. The funding will help improve traffic flow and pedestrian safety in the downtown area of East Buffalo. The project will create curb extensions at various intersections, which will help lower traffic speeds and shorten the distance at pedestrian crossings.
