COLUMBUS, Ga., July 27 -- Columbus State University issued the following news release:
Christi Pennington Rubio '99 did not initially envision her journey to becoming Colony
Bank's chief brand and business development officer when she began her studies at
Columbus State University in 1994.
For the Columbus native and Glenwood School graduate, Columbus State was her first
choice. She recounted changing majors three times, eventually landing on a business administrationdegree with a focus on marketing. She realized "this is just me" and credits Dr. Robin Snipesand retired Dr. Sandi Hortman for providing her with the academic marketing foundation
she relies on professionally.
