SUOZZI, LEADER DERIGGI-WHITTON, AND MAYOR VILLAFANE ANNOUNCE EXPANSION OF SEA CLIFF SEWER SYSTEM

Washington, Sept. 10 -- Congressman Tom Suozzi issued the following press release:

Glen Cove, NY-Congressman Suozzi (D-NY) today joined Nassau County Legislature Minority Leader DeRiggi-Whitton (D-Glen Cove), Sea Cliff Mayor Elena Villafane, and local residents in Sea Cliff to announce the expansion of the Sea Cliff sewer system. The $6.5 million expansion will utilize more than $1.1 million in funds Congressman Suozzi secured in the FY2026 Community Project Funding grants. Nassau County Legislature Minority Leader Delia DeRiggi-Whitton secured an additional $4 million in bond authorization over the next two years to support the expansion of the sanitary sewer system in Sea Cliff, and local resources will cover the balance.
