STRODE NAMED THIRD DIRECTOR OF GATTON ACADEMY AT WKU

BOWLING GREEN, Ky., June 29 -- Western Kentucky University issued the following news release:

Dr. Derick Strode will be returning to The Gatton Academy of Mathematics and Science at Western Kentucky University as the program's third director. Strode will start in this new role July 13, succeeding Dr. Lynette Breedlove who has led Gatton since 2014 following Dr. Tim Gott's tenure.

Strode previously served at The Gatton Academy in Academic Services from 2008 to 2021 as Assistant Director and Coordinator of Research, Internships, and Scholarships.
