LARAMIE, Wyo., June 10 -- The University of Wyoming issued the following news release:
Access to the University of Wyoming parking lot along 14th Street between Grand and
Ivinson avenues -- known as the Cooper or Brown 107 lot -- will be closed for about
two and a half weeks starting Thursday, June 11.
The closure is necessitated by a city of Laramie waterline project that requires closing
14th Street between Ivinson and Grand.
"We evaluated whether access to the parking lot could be maintained; however, due
to the location of the waterline, the depth and width of the trench and the work on
Ivinson, we are not able to maintain access," City Engineer Ridge Leinen says.
