Washington, March 6 -- Congressman Rob Menendez issued the following press release:
"Since coming to Congress, I have consistently supported taking strong action on Iran. The Iranian regime is the largest state sponsor of terrorism, violently oppresses its own people, and collaborates with other adversaries against us and our allies."
"However, I had serious concerns about yesterday's vote given my complete distrust of House Republicans and the Trump Administration. In particular, Republicans used language that mirrors prior authorizations for military force and scheduled the vote to coincide with the War Powers Resolution.
