BLACKSBURG, Va., June 18 -- Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University issued the following news release:
Stacy King has been promoted to assistant vice president and university controller, effective June 10. She served in the role on an interim basis since October 2025, prior to which she was associate controller for accounting operations.
In this role, King will oversee the university's accounting, financial reporting, tax compliance, internal controls, and financial system optimization activities.
