WASHINGTON, July 10 -- Sen. Jon Ossoff issued the following press release:

U.S. Senators Jon Ossoff and Reverend Raphael Warnock are delivering bipartisan infrastructure law funding to protect Georgia families from hazardous contaminants and substances.

Sens. Ossoff and Rev. Warnock are delivering nearly $9 million in Federal funding through the bipartisan infrastructure law to accelerate the cleanup of polluted sites across Georgia.

The Federal funding, delivered through the Environmental Protection Agency's Brownfields Multipurpose, Assessment, and Cleanup grant program, will help assess, clean up and redevelop blighted properties across the state and protect families from dangerous chemicals.
