U.S. Senator Roger Marshall, M.D. (R-Kansas), applauds an announcement by the Department of Justice that processing speed for the Public Safety Officers' Benefits (PSOB) Program has tripled in the last month, providing over $96 million in benefits to eligible surviving families of fallen public safety officers.
The PSOB Program provides benefits to family members of fallen law enforcement officers, firefighters, and first responders, as well as disability benefits to officers and their families in case of a catastrophic injury in the line of duty.
