Senator Edward J. Markey (D-Mass.) released the following statement after voting for the third time to prevent the Trump administration from further military action against Iran without congressional approval. Senator Chris Murphy's resolution failed, 47-53, after Republicans once again blocked bringing the Iran War to an end. Thirteen U.S. servicemembers have now lost their lives in the war, and gasoline prices in the United States have gone up 35 percent - or $1 per gallon.
