LINCOLN, ME - Today, U.S. Senator Susan Collins joined U.S. Secretary of Energy Chris Wright and local leaders in Lincoln to learn more about Form Energy's plans for a new energy storage facility at the Lincoln Technology Park. The facility will be located at the site of the former Lincoln Paper & Tissue Mill.
The project received a nearly $150 million federal award through the Grid Resilience and Innovation Partnerships (GRIP) Program, which was established by the 2021 bipartisan infrastructure law. Senator Collins was a member of the group of ten senators who negotiated that law.
