U.S. Senator Susan Collins visited community development projects in Cumberland County yesterday that were supported by Congressionally Directed Spending (CDS) she secured since 2022 through her role on the Senate Appropriations Committee. These projects include a renovated food bank facility in Harrison and major upgrades at Bridgton Hospital, including plans to expand and modernize the hospital's emergency department.
Since 2021, Senator Collins has secured nearly $1.5 billion (https://www.collins.senate.gov/services/funding-maines-future/) for 672 targeted community development projects across each of Maine's 16 counties.
