WASHINGTON, D.C. - Today, at a Senate Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions (HELP) Committee markup, the Improving Needed Safeguards for Users of Lifesaving Insulin Now (INSULIN) Act advanced by a bipartisan vote of 17 to 5. This landmark legislation, introduced by U.S. Senators Susan Collins, Jeanne Shaheen (D-NH), Reverend Raphael Warnock (D-GA), and John Kennedy (R-LA), would cap the cost of insulin at $35 per month for Americans with private and employer-sponsored insurance.
