U.S. Senator Jon Ossoff's bipartisan legislation to strengthen Georgia's energy security has passed the U.S. Senate.

Sen. Ossoff's bipartisan American Energy Security Act recently passed the U.S. Senate as part of the larger PIPELINE Safety Act of 2025, introduced by Senators Ted Cruz (R-TX) and Maria Cantwell (D-WA).

Sen. Ossoff's bipartisan legislation would formally authorize the Natural Gas Distribution Infrastructure and Safety Modernization grant program, which provides Federal grant funding to help communities replace and upgrade critical infrastructure, improving the safe and reliable transportation of fuel to families and businesses.
