WASHINGTON, Feb. 23 -- Sen. Jon Ossoff issued the following press release:
U.S. Senator Jon Ossoff is delivering new resources to help solve crimes in Fulton County.
Sen. Ossoff brought Republicans and Democrats together to help the Fulton County Medical Examiner identify unidentified and missing persons through forensic genetic genealogy testing.
The Federal funding will help the office identify more currently unidentified and missing persons and bring closure for families waiting for answers.
Sen. Ossoff is delivering $362,000 for the project through bipartisan government funding legislation that became law onJanuary 23.
