WASHINGTON, Oct. 27 -- The U.S. Department of Homeland Security's U.S. Coast Guard issued the following news release:
SAN JUAN, Puerto Rico - Coast Guard Sector San Juan and partner agencies concluded the search for a teenager between the Punta Las Marías and Isla Verde shorelines on the border area of San Juan and Carolina, Puerto Rico, Monday.
Recovered deceased was Alejandro Vazquez, 17, a resident of San Juan after he reportedly came into distress when overtaken by the currents while swimming late Sunday afternoon.
