"Over a year into his presidency, we can confidently say that Donald Trump has failed to address Americans' basic needs. He was elected on a promise to lower costs on 'Day One.' Instead, he drove up costs with his chaotic and reckless tariffs. These trade wars have cost families an average of $1,700 per year, and the economy is failing; in 2025 the economy created fewer jobs than President Biden created in an average month of his presidency.
