Today, U.S. Senator Chuck Schumer called on the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) to cut through the red tape and stop delays to help the Town of Hamden in Delaware County complete the recovery, repair, and mitigation efforts the town was forced to undertake following the remnants of Tropical Storm Debby. For nearly two years, the Town of Hamden has worked diligently with FEMA to advance its over $5,000,000 request for disaster assistance and mitigation funding.
