Aug. 13, 2026 | LITTLE ROCK - The Schmieding Foundation, Inc., pledged $1.5 million to the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) to support construction and activities of the UAMS Health Orthopaedic & Sports Medicine Hospital in Springdale, Arkansas.
UAMS hosted an April 24 topping out ceremony for the facility, which is scheduled to be completed in spring 2027.
