Commissioner Gipson invites the public to attend the last day of the 167th Mississippi State Fair Sunday, October 18, at the Mississippi State Fairgrounds in Jackson. Sunday, October 18, marks the last day for fairgoers to enjoy the Fair. There is a $35 wristband ride special from 12:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Fairgoers can enjoy new attractions such as the Flying Fools High Dive, Fetch N Fish, Royal Legacy Circus, and chainsaw carving, as well as traditional favorites like the Biscuit Booth, antique cars and trade show in the Trade Mart, Taste of Dixie National Rodeo, and pig races.
