U.S. Senator Jacky Rosen (D-NV) successfully pushed the Trump Administration to reopen the U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) Global Entry program. The announcement from CBP comes as a result of Senator Rosen's letter (https://www.rosen.senate.gov/2026/02/27/rosen-calls-on-trump-administration-to-reopen-the-global-entry-program-maintain-tsa-precheck/) urging former-Secretary of Homeland Security Kristi Noem to end the closure of the essential trusted traveler program.
