A bipartisan resolution introduced by U.S. Senators Jacky Rosen (D-NV), Catherine Cortez Masto (D-NV.), John Curtis (R-UT), and Mark Kelly (D-AZ) recognizing the week of April 20th, 2026, as National Dark Sky Week passed the Senate unanimously. The resolution honors the places across the United States, including Great Basin National Park, where the lack of light pollution creates a dark night sky prime for stargazing.
