WASHINGTON, July 20 -- Sen. Jim Risch issued the following press release:
U.S. Senators Jim Risch (R-Idaho) and Tammy Baldwin (D-Wis.) along with Representatives John Joyce (R-Pa.) and Josh Riley (D-N.Y.) today called on the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) to crack down on the misuse of dairy terms for plant-based products, which unfairly impacts dairy farmers and processors and misleads consumers.
