GEORGETOWN, Texas, Sept. 16 -- Williamson County issued the following news release:
Williamson County Constable Precinct 1 Mickey Chance submitted his resignation effective as of Sept. 30, 2026, to the Williamson County Commissioners Court. The Commissioners Court will appoint a person to fill the resulting vacancy in the Office of Williamson County Constable Precinct 1 to serve until the Nov. 2028 General Election. Eligible individuals interested in being considered for the appointment must submit a resume and qualifications to ctyjudge@wilcotx.gov by Sept. 30. The Commissioners Court will review candidates and set up interviews.
