Reps. Juan Ciscomani and Janelle Bynum of Oregon have introduced the bipartisan Supporting VA Families Act (H.R. 8041), legislation to support Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) employees by ensuring they can have an additional 4 weeks of unpaid leave for their newborn children.
This common-sense bill is designed to strengthen support for VA employees by recognizing the importance of parental bonding during the earliest days of a child's life.
