U.S. Representative Greg Steube (R-Fla.) sent a letter to the National Park Service supporting the City of Punta Gorda's Outdoor Recreation Legacy Partnership Program application to redevelop Trabue Park.
"Punta Gorda has worked hard to rebuild and strengthen its community following Hurricane Milton, and this project would give residents more opportunities to enjoy one of the city's greatest assets: its waterfront," said Rep. Steube. "I'm pleased to support the city's application and urge the National Park Service to give this locally driven project its fullest consideration."
