Today, U.S. Representative Brittany Pettersen (CO-07) demanded answers from the U.S. Department of Education after the Department threatened enforcement action and the potential withholding of federal education funding from Jefferson County Public Schools (Jeffco) over a baseless, alleged Title IX violation regarding transgender students.
After notifying the District of its findings in March, the Department provided Jeffco Schools 90 days to address its concerns.
