United States Representative Jimmy Panetta (CA-19) announced $2,368,257 in federal funding to support construction of the new replacement terminal at Monterey Regional Airport (MRY). The federal grant, awarded through the Federal Aviation Administration's (FAA) Airport Improvement Program, will cover the design team's inspection activities during construction of the new 62,754-square-foot public space terminal with five gates and passenger boarding bridges. The funding supports Phase 7 of the project.
