REP. O'BRIEN GAINS CRITICAL FIRST RESPONDER INSIGHT IN 24-HOUR FIRE DEPARTMENT RIDE-ALONG

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind., Sept. 16 -- The Indiana House of Representatives' Republican Caucus issued the following news release:

STATEHOUSE (Sept. 16, 2026) - State Rep. Tim O'Brien on Tuesday completed a 24-hour ride-along with the Evansville Fire Department.

The firefighters of Station 10 met O'Brien on Monday morning during their routine shift change. He spent the entirety of the 24-hour shift with the Station 10 crew, joining them on their calls.

O'Brien, who serves on the House Veterans Affairs and Public Safety Committee, said meeting face to face with firefighters and seeing their needs firsthand will help him better serve first responders through his work on the committee.
