Today, Congresswoman Nancy Mace (R-SC) announced the U.S. House of Representatives passed H.R. 2071, the Save Our Shrimpers Act, by a vote of 391-18. Rep. Mace was a lead cosponsor of the bipartisan legislation, which requires United States representatives at international financial institutions to oppose providing financial assistance to foreign shrimp farming and processing operations which directly compete with domestic shrimpers.
